Luz María Sanz Masedo has a degree in Psychology and Criminology; a master’s degree in NGO Management from ESADE; a master’s degree in Development Cooperation and Humanitarian Aid; and a master’s degree in Psychosocial Intervention in Crisis, Emergency and Disaster Situations.
She currently holds the position of Chief Executive Officer of the Fundación Vicente Ferrer, an NGO that has transformed the lives of millions of people in rural areas of southern India, empowering communities and promoting their access to health and education, with a special focus on the integration of girls, women and people with disabilities. Since 2023, she has led interventions in countries such as Mozambique, Nepal, the Philippines and Sri Lanka, at a time of great challenge for international cooperation. In 2024, following the DANA disaster in the Valencian Community, the Fundación Vicente Ferrer decided to implement its first intervention in Spain.
