Prof Eugene K.M. Darteh (Ph.D.) is a Professor of Social Determinants of Sexual and Reproductive Health at the Department of Population and Health, University of Cape Coast, Cape Coast.

He holds a PhD in Population and Health at the University of Cape Coast (Ghana) and Bachelor’s degree in Population and Family Life Education and a Master of Philosophy Degree in Population Geography in from the University of Cape Coast., Ghana.

He specialized in the Sexual and reproductive health of adolescents in urban poor settings.is a researcher and an academic with about two decades experience in conducting policy relevant research and teaching.

His research in the last decade has focused on Behaviour Change Communication, psychosocial dimensions of COVID -19, Social dimensions of Sexual and Reproductive Health including HIV, Gender and Sexual Based Violence.
